Guests are free to choose their own camping spot within the designated campgrounds. Spots are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

The campground overlooks the river and is located just a short walk away, approximately 100 meters.

Unfortunately, motorbikes are not permitted under our standard camping rules.

We may allow motorbikes only when the entire campground is booked for private use.

Yes! Well-behaved, sociable dogs are welcome on our working cattle farm, with a few important guidelines to ensure everyone’s safety:

Leash requirement

Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times while on the property.

Supervision

Wildlife (including wild dogs) frequents the area. You’re responsible for supervising your pet at all times to prevent any incidents.

Off-lead privileges

Off-lead play is only permitted for dogs that:

  • Have an exceptional recall
  • Remain calm and non-aggressive around livestock and other guests
  • Are continuously watched by their owner

Failure to comply with these rules may result in removal from the campground without refund. Thank you for helping us keep both our guests and animals safe!

Quiet generators are permitted between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM. If you need to use a generator overnight, please contact management. We will assist in finding a suitable campsite away from other campers to ensure everyone can enjoy a peaceful environment.

Check-Out: by 10:00 AM

Yes. You’re welcome to bring your horse provided that:

  • You carry your own public liability insurance covering horse riding and submit proof of coverage prior to booking.
  • You supply a portable electric fence to contain your horse safely.

A 4WD is not required to access the campground. However, if you plan to explore the property beyond the campground, a 4WD will be necessary.

Yes, there are designated fire pits available across the campground, or you may bring your own.

Firewood Options Campers can choose from the following firewood options:

  1. Collect firewood from the property grounds.
  2. Purchase firewood conveniently available in wheelbarrows on the property.
  3. Bring Your Own (BYO) firewood if preferred.


Important Restriction
Please remember, cutting down trees on the property is strictly prohibited.

This policy ensures the preservation of the 1300-acre cattle property’s natural environment while allowing guests to enjoy the charm and warmth of campfires during their stay.

Swimming in the Clarence River is at your own discretion. While the river can appear calm and serene in some photos, it is important to note that conditions can vary greatly. At times, the river may be unsafe to enter due to factors such as flooding, submerged rocks, or low water levels, all of which are influenced by weather conditions.

Please consider this variability when planning your visit.

Yes, we have four (4) flushing toilet and two (2) shower blocks located near the campgrounds, both with wheelchair access. Additionally, there is a dump point conveniently located next to these facilities.

No, drinking water is not available on the property. Please ensure you bring enough water to meet your needs during your stay.
